Educational Travel Adventures has partnered with Wounded Warrior Project to give hope for those who are home for the holidays.
March 9 - 12, 2019
A select number of school bands, choirs and orchestras will be invited to travel to "Music City" to record a holiday album in one of the city's oldest and most prestigious studios, RCA Studio B. Not only will students lay down a professional track in the very spot Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton recorded some of their biggest hits, but each school will be joined in studio by a music industry professional who will work with them and be featured on their track.
All tracks will be put together to create the 2019 holiday album "Hope For The Holidays." 100% of album sales will benefit Wounded Warrior Project.

All programs are free to warriors and care givers and promote mental and physical well being while empowering warriors to succeed within their new normal. Programs include peer engagement, mental health, physical health and wellness, and economic empowerment. From resume writing, adaptive cycling, financial education, peer groups and events, and assistance with VA benefits, WWP provide a wholistic support for today's warriors and is committed to being there for a lifetime.
From new shared experiences with peers, challenging comfort zones, and opening minds to new perspectives, travel has long proven to promote student growth. Now, what happens if we add an element of charity to that trip? As a leader in student travel, we've had the opportunity to see this exponential growth first-hand for over 25 years, and for thousands of students.
Students realize - maybe for the first time - that they can have a significant impact on their community, and are a part of something bigger than themselves. They quickly learn to lead as they understand charities rely on people like them to spread their mission. Some students become personally connected to their trip and continue their charity well beyond their experience. These new skills, experiences, and sense of fulfillment developed when traveling and giving their time will benefit students for the rest of their lives.

More on Wounded Warrior Project
Did you know that more than 52,000 warriors have returned home physically wounded from the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts? If you think that's a big number, consider the 400,000 that have returned with wounds we cannot see. Enhancements to battlefield medicine and armor have increased the survival rate of our warriors, but with new survivors comes a new set of injuries known as the invisible wounds of war. This is where WWP comes in. WWP's vision is to foster the most successful and well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation's history. This means providing programs that cater to today's warriors and fill the gaps in government care.
